Why the name The Tribe Church?

A tribe is a collection of families descending from one ancestor. The "Twelve Tribes" of the Hebrews were the twelve collections of families which sprang from the sons of Jacob once God had changed his name to Israel.

In Matthew 24:30, the word has a wider significance, his chosen ones, Tribe is the spiritual family of God.

To help people find their way back to God and His Tribe.

Thank you so much for checking out The Tribe. God, over the last several months, has birthed in me a vision for and dream of what has surprisingly but ultimately turned out to be that of planting a new church called "The Tribe". I am so grateful to Him for continuing to work through me and birthing in me a new calling. "The Tribe" will officially launch August 13, 2017, as long as that continues to be the will of God. I want to thank from the deepest part of my heart the core group of people that have come along side me and given me the godly courage to pursue this beautiful but difficult calling. I don't know if I would have ever had the required courage without them. We feel God is going to physically plant "The Tribe" in the South Hall area, but its leaders are completely open to God's will and direction.We will not define success by traditional ways of bodies, budgets, and buildings but by fruitfullness and faithfulness. I just want us all to spend the rest of our lives focusing on being fruitful and faithful, helping as many people as we can find their way back to God, and His Tribe, and being a part of a Tribe where we all matter and want to belong. Exciting things are happening rapidly. I truly believe "The Tribe" is going to be a unique, exciting, God-honoring and Spirit filled expression of the Bride of Christ.
